Chromaroll

Chromaroll is an aluminum printing film for inkjet printers that is new to the US market for 2013. Utilizing cutting edge technology to produce a micro-thin metal surface that has a mirror finish, your digital prints can now possess an iridescent quality, more punch and vibrancy, than is available with other media.

Chromaroll is produced through a process known as “vacuum metallization”, where a very thin sheet of polypropylene is coated with a layer of aluminum. The metal surface is then treated to accept standard (pigment based) ink from a wide variety of home or office inkjet printers, providing an exciting new way to print unique photographs and fine art giclées.

This new paper complements our existing complete assortment of inkjet printing options, which includes Moab and Canson Infinity papers, and every option for hobbyists as well.  For some practical printing tips and FAQs from Chromaroll, click here for a pdf.

Available at Flax in 5 sheet packs of 8.5″x11″ and 13″x19″, $18.99 and $49.99.
